Join television personality Emme Tomimbang and her co-host Chef Alan Wong as they go behind the scenes on what it takes to prepare and present one of Hawaii’s most celebrated culinary fundraising events of the year– Easter Seals Hawaii’s Chefs du Jour. On June 21st, 12 international and local superstar chefs teamed up with Hawaii’s premium agriculture and aquaculture producers to create a mouth-watering “farm to table” tasting menu under the stars for 500 guests at Tamarind Park in Downtown Honolulu. Proceeds from the Chefs du Jour benefit Easter Seals Hawaii and its mission of helping individuals with disabilities and other special needs.

In a special one-hour long television program, Emme and Chef Alan will take viewers on a fascinating journey into the culinary world of the event’s international stars, into the kitchens of local star chefs, out into the fields of Hawaii’s top producers and into the lives of a few very special Easter Seals Hawaii participants.

Highlights of the television special include:
  • Candid interviews and an up close look at the event’s international superstars in action: former Iron Chef French Hiroyuki Sakai, Award-winning Melisse Chef/Owner Josiah Citrin and World Pastry Cup Gold Medalist En-Ming Hsu. Including behind-the-scene action with Hawaii’s local star chef participants Chefs Alan Wong, Roy Yamaguchi, Alan Takasaki, Hiroshi Fukui, Donato Loperfido, Philippe Padovani, Nobu’s Waikiki Lindsey Ozawa & Toshiyuki Sasajima and Restaurateur Henry Adaniya.
