This week on “Emme’s Classic Island Moments” join Emme Tomimbang in an encore special featuring the cast and crew of “Hawaii Five-O”.

Originally aired in 1996, she revisits the classic television series with exclusive, archival interviews with some of the original guest stars and local actors featured in the immensely popular television series which ran from 1968 to 1980 in the U.S.A., and is still seen around the world in U.S. syndication and foreign countries.

Co-hosted by James MacArthur, “Danno” on the series, footage of reminiscences from local actors and celebrities from the era include Doug Mossman, Jimmy Borges, Eddie Sherman, Kwan Hi Lim, Kam Fong, Carole Kai, Moke Ale, Zulu, Al Harrington, casting agent Margaret Doversola, Personal Secretary to Jack Lord Christine Ikeda, and many others.

It also includes rare interviews with Rose Freeman, widow of Hawaii 5-0 creator Leonard Freeman, and the late Marie Lord, wife of star Jack Lord.

And to help update that classic show, Emme brings back the man who played “Ben Kokua,” Al Harrington.

Tomimbang’s special “Memories of Hawaii 5-0” was also included on CBS’s seven-disc, 24 episode collection of the first season, edited to conform with the first season’s actors, actresses, and storylines.
